A simple and delicious Salsa Verde recipe.
Ingredients:
1 lb of tomatillos
1/2 a white onion
6 garlic cloves
Juice of 1/2 of a naval orange
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 tsp of monk fruit sweetener
1 tsp of Trini Pepper Sauce
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of black pepper

Directions:
Cut a white onion in half, and chop that half into about 6 pieces. Remove the husk from the tomatillos. Spread out the Onion, the tomatillos, and the garlic cloves on a baking tray.

In an oven, broil the onions, tomatillos, and garlic cloves until they have some char on them. Remove everything from the baking sheet and place into a blender.

Add the juice of half of a navel orange, juice of one lime, 1/2 tsp of monk fruit sweetener, 1 tsp of Trini Pepper Sauce, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper. Blend for about 20 seconds or until a uniform consistency.
Add a 1/4 cup of cilantro, and Blend about 4 seconds to break up the cilantro and mix. This adds a little more texture to the salsa.
